Joe Hampton, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, graduated from Bellarmine College with B.A. in philosophy and a M.B.A. in finance and strategic planning. Joe spent 15 years in various corporate positions from accountant, financial analyst, and manager to corporate controller for a $24 million dollar regional manufacturing/retail company.
In 1979, Joe began investing in real estate in his spare time and enjoyed it so much he quit his corporate position to pursue real estate sales full-time-beginning on April Fool’s Day 1986. That year Joe was “Rookie of the Year” for a 200 agent organization. In 1990, 1993 and 2007 he was designated as the Kentucky Exchangor of the Year. Joe’s sales rank in the top 1% of the industry.
Joe is an educator and a trainer and has taught many seminars at local boards, spoken at regional and national conventions, taught college level investment courses and in 1994 began his own one hour real estate call-in radio show on WWKY. He is an approved trainer for the Kentucky Real Estate Commission.
Code of Ethics
The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:
Loyalty to clients;
Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;
Cooperation with competitors;
Truthfulness in statements and advertising; and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.
